Why should you join the PTSA?
The
PTA is the largest child advocacy group in the USA. With 6,000,000 members
nationwide, and 36,000 members in Orange County, the PTA has clout and a
powerful voice in national, state and local policymaking. By having a large
membership in our school, we have a strong voice and can make a
difference, in our school, in our local community, and in the laws that affect
our children.
When you join the Gotha PTSA, we will keep you informed on the current issues
and trends affecting children, and provide you with a wealth of information and
resources available through the state and local PTA chapters.
Membership Levels
$7 individual
$35 family
$100 GMS
Each
membership comes with a magnetic GMS calendar that you can put
on your refrigerator to see all the school holidays and important dates this
year.
Join
PTAs Each Year at Each of your Children’s Schools
Please note
that membership in a school PTA is not for life. It must be renewed at
each school each year so we hope you will choose
to join the Gotha PTSA and the PTAs at the schools your other children
attend. All members of your family are invited to join our Parent
Student Teacher Association, including grandparents!

Look
for the PTSA membership table in the cafeteria at
Meet the Teacher. We can answer your questions, collect
your application, give you your membership cards, and find out how/if you
would like to volunteer at Gotha this year.

You
should find a PTSA application in your child’s
GMS packet that will be sent home on the first day of school.
This application can be turned in at the front office or to any of your
student’s teachers.
